I am never going to sit around recording for a whole week with MPT. Let me repeat this once again. I hate 'jamming.' I hate improvising. Ring | Pointer | Pinky | Middle | Thumb Matt met the other members of the band in the following order: Number 4 (3rd grade), Dan (7th grade), Mark (9th grade), Dave (after college).

matt prefers a minimalist touch with his contributions to the MPT songs. He wants to take it to another level by not participating at all.

matt created the cover for the 1998 record in the space of a few hours, spread out over 8 months.

matt was 1st chair baritone sax in the all Sussex County (NJ) band in 1984 and 1985, but hasn't practiced much since then.

matt was previously in Prehensile Monkeytailed Skink (with Mark and Dan) and was one of The Many Moods of Marlon Magas.

matt didn't know what he was getting into when he co-founded MPT.
