Max! The records are pressed. The labels are glued on. We're just waiting for our production robotics to create some cover art that is worth a shit. It shouldn't be long.

Also, the next recording session has been scheduled. We can't release the when or where, but if you're vacationing in Savannah Georgia on October 17th and hear a loud racket, please don't call the cops. It'll be over in 24hrs or less.

MPT Assistant to the VP - Systems

Hey guys! Where's the new record? There may be protests and riots and looting if it's not forthcoming. And you don't want that, do you?

-Max from KFJC

Yes! Mr. Level did a fantastic job. And those actors! A few them were dead ringers for actual band members. If you've ever done radio drama, you'll appreciate how real they sounded. A good script helps--the writers really nailed it.

If you wish to contact Mr. Level to thank him for the show or to inquire about having your own radio documentary made (warning: he ain't cheap!) his email is: max_level@yahoo.com.

The show is archived here on the site. Please refresh the home page and you'll find four 1-hour mp3s you can listen to at your leisure.

Max Level and KFJC did a fantastic job of unlayering the thick, scrungy, obtuse layers of Monkey Power Trio music. I couldn't listen to the entire radio program (4 hours of MPT adoration? sorry, I have a life...) but was enthralled for 2.5 hours. I even called in to win a prize, but was the 4th caller for a 3rd caller winner. Damn! The only MPT stuff I own is what I bought, and it doesn't seem fair that I can't have some free stuff too. But again, the interviewer did a fantastic job of coaxing some semblance of thoughtful musings out of the monkeys' mouths. Is this program archived or available for download? Could I have it for free, or do I have to pledge a donation to public radio? How can we MPT fans thank Max, without having to pay him money? Just wondering.

Kentucky Fried Jesus Christ??!!? now that is f**king hilarious!

Sorry Michael. We have it up on the home page now. Hope your servers can handle our fans!

MPT Assistant Secretary, Communications

hey, how come there is no mention anywhere on the MPT website of the upcoming radio extravaganza? do you guys want to break through into mass consciousness or not??
the URL for the MPT website was going to be mentioned several times during the special, but now we're not so sure. we may direct people here instead:

love, KFJC

Don't worry Keith. Mao Tse-Tung, Casanova, and J. Edgar Hoover were all librarians at one point--and they loved the MPT. Just be ready for some turbulence in your career trajectory.

Fan Mail Clerk #449-42

I've hopped on the bus. I'm happy with myself even though I'm a fan. I'm a rabid fan, but I worry that I'm in a very severe minority. Can a librarian be a MPT fan and not compromise the pristine principles of our sacred librarian profession? Any advice or words of encouragement? It would certainly validate my existence, not to mention my solitary fanaticism.

Keith Johnson (oops, should I be anonymous?) That is my fake name, by the way.

Hello Purple,

Four is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5.
